Get qualified with Australia’s most trusted instructor training program and build a career with more freedom, flexibility, and control over your future.
Most jobs ask you to fit your life around their schedule. As a qualified driving instructor, the schedule fits around you.
Work the hours that suit you. Scale up when you want more income. Scale back when life calls. No boss. No office. No fluorescent lights.
There’s no ceiling on what you put in. The more lessons you teach, the more you earn. You set the pace of your work.
Every lesson shapes a safer driver. You’ll mentor learners through their nerves, build their confidence, and feel the win every time one of them passes.
Driving instruction offers flexibility that traditional careers simply can’t.
Many LTrent graduates continue into rewarding long-term careers helping learner drivers across NSW and beyond.
Too many driving instructor courses keep you sitting behind a desk. Ours puts you behind the wheel, because that’s where you’ll actually do the job.

You learn how to teach on the road, not just in theory.
Assigned trainer. Assigned assessor. Student portal. Structured lesson tools. Support at every stage.
Join LTrent and build your own driving instruction business.
LTrent graduates come from all kinds of backgrounds. You don’t need teaching experience or business knowledge, just the desire to build something different.
“I recently completed my training with LTrent as a driving instructor, and it was an exceptional experience. I received abundant support and guidance throughout the program, thanks to my knowledgeable, helpful and efficient mentor as well as the office staff. The use of real-life examples and experiences truly helped put everything into perspective.”
