LTrent Driving School offers the Safer Drivers Course in Hornsby. The SDC is an essential program for learner drivers under 25 in NSW, who have at least 50 logbook hours. This course aims to enhance your driving skills through both theoretical and practical training. By successfully completing the course, you will gain an additional 20 logbook hours.
Designed to develop safer driving habits, the course is engaging and informative. You and your friends can attend together, making it a fun experience while you learn vital driving techniques. The course consists of two modules: a three-hour interactive theory session and a two-hour practical coaching session.
In Module 1, you’ll participate in a group discussion with 10-12 other learners, exploring behaviours and strategies for safe driving, such as hazard management, speed control, and gap selection. Module 2 involves a practical session with two learners per car, focusing on real-world driving scenarios to reduce crash risks.
Completing the Safer Drivers Course will help you become a more confident and defensive driver. You will learn to identify hazards, reduce crash risks, and understand low-risk driving techniques, all under the guidance of qualified LTrent instructors.
