Important Update: Keys2Drive Program Ceased
LTrent previously offered a FREE driving lesson for learner drivers and their parents/supervisors under the Keys2Drive program. However, please note that the Keys2Drive program has been discontinued as of 30 June 2023.
The program, which started in 2008, was funded by the Commonwealth Government and delivered thousands of subsidised driving lessons over the years. Despite its initial promise, multiple independent reviews indicated that it did not achieve the expected measurable improvements in road safety.
What's Next?
Although Keys2Drive has ended, LTrent is committed to road safety and driver education. For NSW learner drivers under the age of 25 and a minimum of 50 logbook hours, the Safer Drivers Course is available. Through both in-class activities and car coaching sessions, the Safer Drivers Course will help learners to be safe long after passing the driving test. Upon the successful completion of the course, they will receive an extra 20 log book hours.
