I highly recommend LTrent Driving School and in particular, my instructor David! Myself and others saw a massive improvement in my driving and if it wasn’t for David’s helpful skills and faith in me I probably wouldn’t have passed first go like I did. I was able to pass my driving test first go after a few lessons with George. He was an excellent instructor and prepared me very well for the test. His humour and no-nonsense approach to teaching will make your lessons enjoyable, but also guarantee to make you a safe driver. I would highly recommend asking for George as your instructor.

Best driving school! John is amazing. He is very patient and he explains things very clearly. I have had driving instructors in the past who have yelled at me and given me attitude and with L Trent my experience is completely the opposite and felt like a safe and comfortable way to learn how to drive.

Just recently migrated to Australia. I was a manual driver in the Philippines for more than half a decade and have adapted a very offensive and lax driving style. I'm a fully licensed driver, and I used LTrent to learn how to drive a manual. I had an awesome bloke named Errol take me around in his immaculate Kia and teach me all the basics. Errol was an awesome teacher, and after a 1.5 hour lesson I was good to go. Errol is a deadset legend, thanks mate!

I had Bernie as my instructor and I could not say enough! I first met Bernie at a Safer Drivers Course, I had never had driving lessons before and was not a confident driver. However, after just a few lessons I learnt so much a began to trust myself more. Bernie is an absolute expert and professional. LTrent was recommended to me by an ex-student. Lessons are more expensive than other driving schools. However, the quality of driving instruction was worth every cent. My instructor Will was very knowledgeable, had high standards and gave meticulous feedback on my performance. The office team were friendly and quick to respond to questions. I also attended the safer driver’s course through LTrent. The course has two components, an in-class section and a driving section. Both were engaging, relevant and will continue to be useful in the future. LTrent stands out in driving schools because the focus is not just on preparing you to pass your P’s test, but to make you a safer driver once you are out on your own. I did pass my P’s test first go in a manual, so if you need a manual instructor go to LTrent. Absolute legends.

Someone who corrects you when needed in both driving and life situations. After lessons with him, I have now become a safer driver, and am able to feel safe on the road. My instructor was Bernie. He is very knowledgeable in instructing new drivers how to be safe drivers for the rest of their lives. He uses a variety of ways to teach, which includes different techniques that are simple to learn, but so effective when on the road. I just managed to pass my P’s test first go, with a score of 100%. I highly recommend Bernie as an instructor for you.

I had a great experience at Trent. Especially with my Driving Instructor Paul. He is very kind towards his students and keeps his lessons simple and easy to understand. My instructor Bernie was absolutely instrumental in helping me pass my Ps first try. He was incredibly knowledgeable and turned me into a confident (albeit very safe) driver. I could not have passed my test without him, and I certainly would not feel prepared to actually drive on my own were it not for him and the wonderful service that LTrent provides. The admin staff were also always very friendly, helpful, and easy to reach.

Highly recommend Chris W as a instructor and LTrent in general! I am a >25 year old learner who needed some fine tuning in my driving in order to help me become a better driver as well as to pass my driving test. I felt that Chris is a great instructor who knows how to "read" their students and explain things patiently. They were well organized and i never felt rushed. I can’t thank my instructor George from Ltrent enough! After being on my L’s for nearly three years and still not confident in my driving ability or road skills, I came to George to help me out. He was patient and supportive, going back to basics to help me learn the fundamentals of manual driving, giving me a foundation to build my skill set from. George also placed specific emphasis on what it meant to be a safe driver, constantly reminding me to do all my vision and safety checks which helped me established a confidence in my driving ability. Learning to drive safe and defensively is a skill that will be invaluable for the rest of my life as a driver.I looked forward to my lessons with George, as he was easy to get along with and encouraging. George helped me progress each lesson, not only by teaching me new skills but also by setting me challenges and pushing me to develop my abilities further. With George’s encouragement I began to feel more confident on the road and was able to start practicing advanced manoeuvres such as reverse parallel parking and three point turns. Within a few months I was ready to do my test, passing on my first go! I can attest this result to the help and support of George. As a busy uni student, another great quality of George was his flexibility with lesson bookings and times. This was extremely helpful, as it allowed driving to work around my schedule.I cannot recommend George and Ltrent Driving school enough to anyone looking to learn to drive and succeed at their P's test!

Had a 2 hour lesson with Phil Cornwell the day before my drivers test just 2 days ago. He was brilliant! Fixed my reverse park, and kerbside stop. Also gave me tips, and of course he taught me what to emphasize on the checks during the tests. More importantly he helped me create good habits with regards to shoulder checking and fine tuned awareness to my surroundings which gave me much more confidence. L Trent is more costly, but after having tried a few of their instructors and others from other schools, they maintain a pretty good standard of teachers overall compared to their competitors. Phil in particular didn't just tell you what to do like most other instructors, he helped you come to realizations and in turn create new habits for yourself I believe will be helpful for years to come. Pass on my first attempt, and have become very comfortable on the road. Thank you Phil!

After 10 years of having my L's, all it took was two months of lessons with the fantastic Bernie to pass first go! I couldn't be happier! Bernie was so easy to get along with, gave continuous support and guidance and helped me increase my confidence levels to become test ready. I just wanted to thank Gerard for helping me get my Ps. I'm about 15 years late in getting my licence, but he was extremely helpful with assessing my level of knowledge first lesson and tailoring my lessons to what I needed to know, plus the basics of safety as a new driver which were much more helpful than reading them from the rms books. I have learnt to drive carefully especially with a 8 month old in the car and feel confident after my lessons with Gerard. A big thank you again to LTrent and Gerard for their professional service and driving programs.

I was on my international license and wanted to convert it into a NSW one. I booked a few lessons with Steve C. to help me transition from left hand drive to right hand drive. He helped me on getting my nsw full license easily. Trent have a good lesson plan that even veteran drivers could learn from.

I cannot recommend L Trent driving school enough! My experience with another driving school was abysmal so I know the difference a learning system and a fantastic instructor (Nic) can make. L Trent have a learning plan designed for new drivers to reach targets and drive safely and with confidence. I learned to drive a manual at the age of 27. Held off driving for years to due having bad experiences in road traffic accidents when I was young. I would recommend their system of learning to anyone of any age. Superior to any other school in Sydney. Thank you so Nic! A total gent who wants the best for his students. Will work with you until you get things right and keeps your confidence up. Got me driving confidently and safety after a poor experience with another instructor and 10 years of being terrified to drive! I trusted him 100% and in doing so passed my test first time.

I started taking my lessons with Alex and he is amazing! I switched from another driving school and have absolutely loved taking lessons from Alex. He is so patient and has a really good sense of humor which make the lessons so much more enjoyable. He explains so well and is always ready to demonstrate and explain over and over. I would definitely rate him 15/10!

Trent are by far the best Learner driver teachers. We tried a few before finding Trent. Scott Hogan was the instructor and he is great. Very friendly, with clear and comprehensive instructions. I had the pleasure of being instructed by Nic Townsend. He was knowledgeable, calming, and a fantastic teacher. Thanks to him, I passed my driving test with 106/109. His emphasis on safe driving, especially checking at intersections saved me from getting sideswiped by a red light runner going 80. Lessons with Trent are a worthwhile investment, and I would highly recommend them.

Leigh was everything I wanted in a driving instructor and more. She is encouraging, alert, and perceptive. Also, her explanations are very detailed, logical, and practical — this was something I really appreciated. I passed my driving test with flying colours at my first attempt, and I simply could not have done this without Leigh and her meticulous teaching style. I looked forward to each lesson with her, and I can confidently say she’s built strong foundations for safe driving within me. I highly recommend her and Trent Driving School.

Dave Pickering was my instructor and let me tell you, I'd had my fair share of those before trying LTrent. Dave is fun, meticulous and patient, never came close to losing his cool and was compassionate too when needed -- a perfect learning space for anxious/upset/easily startled students especially. I passed my driving test despite experiencing several hazards during my exam and while driving my new car home today -- a credit to both my instructor and the teaching methods LTrent employs. 10/10 guys!

He's tough but fair and you even end up growing to like the toughness (or maybe that's just me!). Did my driving lessons with George K & could not give him any higher praise. I passed my P test with a pretty much perfect score but not only that, he has prepared me for driving by myself and gave me lessons that I will use all my driving life. Spoke to Liam at reception to arrange some driver assessments for our organisation. I have had my two nephews and my two brother in-laws do lessons with this company. All passed their test their first time. They all had different instructors from memory and every one was amazing. Staff on the phone were all lovely too. I've recommended them to a fair few people. The lessons may be more than other places, but they are quality. My sister had tried a few other places around the area and the problems faced ranged from instructors being rude, to showing the wrong rules for round-a-bouts and one company didn't even show up. I purchased gift vouchers for my nephews and it was the best decision.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the greatest instructer ever!! 💐Drum roll please ......The award goes to BERNIE! I am so lucky to have had his support and valuable lessons along side my journey. He has taught me so much and helped me greatly to be the safest driver I could ever be!
